Now my dissertation is done I've been focusing on my practical work more. Taking photographs of Couch surfers houses, showing what to expect when you go couch surfing, the variety of places you can stay as well as the different personalities of hosts you meet along the way. These photos are from Nicks house in Falmouth.

Couch Surfers

For my third year project I have been looking at the website couch surfers, an online community that allows you to meet up with locals when you are travelling at stay at their house. The more I have been meeting up with couch surfers and learning about it I've began to realise what an open, friendly community it is. Here are some of my first photos from a shoot with Rich, a couch surfer living in Falmouth, Cornwall.

Multimedia Joy

This is a multimedia piece I did for a module in my second year. It is about a lady called Joy, who is 93 and still lives alone, drives, cooks and has a generally amazing life for a woman of her age!
